Why this blog?

I discovered Mindfulness in 2017 and it was a crush, a new discovery and the start of a new journey.

Mindfulness brought me a lot:

  • A tool to not think about the past or the future, but a capacity to be in the present moment;

  • A decrease of my anxiety;

  • A capacity to enjoy more the little things of the life by not rushing;

  • A capacity to welcome better my emotions and let it go;

  • A better connection with my body;

  • An ability to pay more attention to my breath;

  • A better listening of the people around me.

From the beginning of this journey, I’ve been asked “but what is Mindfulness?”, “could you please tell me more about it?”. I noticed that a lot of curiosity exists around the subject. I also noticed that my surroundings is affected by the stress. That’s why and when the idea of a blog emerged: I wanted to bring awareness to my friends and family and potentially to more people. As sharing is caring, I also thought, that I could share my experiences, discoveries, struggles.

This blog is for anyone who is interested in discovering Mindfulness and for doing the first steps. It will gather articles about Mindfulness, my own experiences and learnings, inspiring poems or quotes, tips for the day to day, inspiring videos or interviews. But, obviously, due to my HR background and experience, I also would like to have a focus on Mindfulness and work-related stress.

I’m so curious to follow this journey and share it with you!
